How to – Send a single Defect from the Defects List
If you have chosen to create maintenance reminders from Inspect defects manually, you will need to send the defect to the Maintenance module from either the defects list or the defect details page in the Inspect module.
Follow the steps below to manually send a defect to the maintenance module from the defects list:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click Inspect

From the top menu click the Defects tab

From the list of Defects, click the 3-dots menu within the desired Defect row

From the list, select Send to Maintenance
If the ‘Send to Maintenance’ option does not appear, that indicates that (1) there is already a maintenance reminder for this defect or (2) this defect type (major or minor) is configured in Settings to not create maintenance reminders.
he Send to Maintenance side sheet will be pre-populated with the options configured in the Settings. You can review and update the settings as required.
Follow the steps below to manually send a defect to the maintenance module from the defects list:

Select the Target date

Select the Internal recipients

Type in the External recipients

Click the Send button
