Rules: DTC Based Conditions
This feature adds support for using Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) as conditions in custom rules. Users can choose to track all active DTCs or define specific DTCs to include or exclude when triggering a rule.
Available options include:

Any active DTC – Triggers the rule for any detected DTC.

Specific DTCs only – Triggers the rule only for selected DTC values.

Any DTC except specific ones – Triggers the rule for all DTCs except those explicitly excluded.
This provides more flexibility in monitoring vehicle diagnostics.
Follow the steps below to access DTCs as a condition in custom Rules:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click the Settings module

Click the Rules tab at the top

Click the + button, from the list of Rule Types select Custom Rule

Select the desired parameters for the rule including the DTC Condition

From the Active DTC field select the desired option (any, specific, any excluding specific)

Click the Save button
