Groups Permissions
For the Groups tab to be visible and for users to be able to work with Groups, users must have the corresponding permissions enabled for their assigned Role.
The below chart highlights the various Groups Permissions that are available and their functionality.
| Permission name | Permission Description |

| Assign Group Types | Assign existing group types |
| Edit Group Types | Create, edit and delete group types |
| Edit Protected Groups and Group Types | Mark group types as protected and manage those groups. Also requires Edit Group Types to be enabled. The protected check box restricts users to edit a protected group type and its group details. |
| Manage Groups | See the Groups tab and create, edit or delete groups |
| View Groups | See the Groups tab in view-only mode (no changes allowed) |
