How to – Add a Parent Node
A Root Node (1st level) is created by default for your account, the name will match your organizations name. A node is an individual Group or branch of the Hierarchy. Multiple Parent Nodes (2nd level) can be created underneath the Root Node.
Follow the steps below to add a Parent Node to a Root Node:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left hand side, click the Settings module

Select the Groups tab from the top

Click the Root Node and then the + button

An empty Details form will be displayed on the right-hand side to enter details for the Child Node, type in the Group name

(Optional) Enter External ID (required field for API integration)

(Optional) Enter a Description
-
Click the Save button
