Groups - Overview
Groups is used to manage data access within your organization. It determines which assets, geofences or users are visible and to whom.
Groups (also referred to as Hierarchy) is an easy way to segment your account based on location, business unit, reporting structure or other means.
Important Note: If you choose not to use Groups, you will simply have all of your data stored in a single group that is already added to your application by default. If you choose to use Groups, it is recommended that you plan your group structure carefully to ensure that your hierarchy meets your needs and that resources (assets, users and geofences) are visible in the desired groups.
