Integrations - Northstar
With the Northstar integration, Unity now supports automatic entity synchronization between the Tattle API and Unity. Fleet managers can access live tracking, trip detection, utilization, and fuel data, while benefiting from seamless, automated asset sync through the Entity Sync Service.
To work with the Integrations functionality in UnityFC, users must have the corresponding permission enabled for their assigned Role.
Follow the steps below to access the Integrations page:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click the Settings module

From the top menu, click System, from the System menu, click Integrations

From the Integrations page, click click Enabled Integrations section and select Northstar

Type in the Username, Password and Database Name

Click the Save button
Note: When a user is accessing the Integration for the first time, it will be available from within the Available Integrations section, and the user must Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
The following outlines the key features and validation criteria for the Northstar integration, highlighting expected functionality across assets, data properties, platform modules, and system connectivity.
