Integrations - Samsara
With Samsara Level 1 integration, customers can connect their existing Samsara environment to automatically sync vehicle and asset gateways, delivering live tracking, speed, odometer, and trip data in Unity with quick, in-platform setup and automated commissioning.
To work with the Integrations functionality in UnityFC, users must have the corresponding permission enabled for their assigned Role.
Follow the steps below to access the Integrations page:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click the Settings module

From the top menu, click System, from the System menu, click Integrations

From the Integrations page, click click Enabled Integrations section and select Samsara

Type in the API key
-
Click the Save button
Note: When a user is accessing the Integration for the first time, it will be available from within the Available Integrations section, and the user must Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Important Note: Samsara API key should be generated by the customer in advance, and must include "Global Read" scope.
