How to – Add the Lock / Unlock Feature Permission
The Asset access control permission allows fleet managers to specify which employees have access to restrict lock / unlock access for GM assets. This feature is visible under asset details for GM vehicles.
Follow the steps below to add the GM lock and unlock feature permission:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click the Settings module

Select the Roles tab from the top

To add the Asset access control permission to an existing role, from the all roles list, select the desired Role name

Or to add a new role, click the + button

Click the toggle button to enable the Map module

From the permission section, within the Map module, add a tick next to Asset access control

Click the Save button
Important Note: Once a role has been created, you can assign it to users from the People List page located within the People tab, of the Settings module.
