Set Your Duty Type Values
Transportation vehicles are classified as Light Duty, Medium Duty and Heavy Duty.
For any Duty Type selected, the application provides you with default event threshold values that we recommend using for vehicles in that specific Duty Type category.
However, you can choose to change the default settings depending on your organization's needs and custom configure the following settings to your fleet, as necessary.
These corresponding default values are field-tested and validated thresholds, which aim to provide the most value to the vehicles in the respective Duty Type categories.
You can customize the thresholds for the following Event Rules: speeding, harsh braking, rolling stop, harsh acceleration, harsh cornering, tailgating. VisionAI Hub will display an industry standard threshold for other AI events.
Please note that Beta events are turned off by default. To fully experience all features, you will need to manually enable Beta events from your Camera Configurations tab.
Follow the steps below to set preferred Duty Type values:
-
Log in to the Unity application
-
Once you log in, from the left-hand side main menu select VisionAI Hub
-
From the VisionAI Hub menu select Camera Configurations
-
From the preferred Duty Type (Light duty, Medium duty, Heavy duty) click the button next to each event type to enable or disable each event
-
Type in the corresponding threshold of the event that you would like to change
-
Click to enable or disable the Audible Alert for the selected event
-
Click to enable or disable the Push notification for the selected event
-
Click the Save button
-
Repeat steps 4-8 to configure each desired Event rule
The events will now only trigger in the VisionAI Hub Mobile App for a resource (driver) and on the Trip Dashboard for you when assets exceed the thresholds as configured.
Example: If the posted speed limit on a road is 20 km/h2. and if you configure the speed limit of all Medium Duty3. vehicles to be 17.5 km/h, then the speed limit alert will4. trigger when the vehicle exceeds the posted speed limit5. by 17.5 km/h, in this case at 37.5 km/h.
