Inspections – Non-Fleet Assets
There are times when a driver must complete a DVIR for an asset that doesn’t belong to their fleet, such as third-party trailers that they pick up and drop off. For Rental trucks or trailers lasting less than 30 days, an ELD device is not necessary, however an inspection is still required.
This feature allows fleet administrators to enable inspections for assets they do not want to add to their list of assets, but they do require an inspection.
