How to – Search, Sort and Filter Defects
The Defects tab allows you to Search, Sort and Filter defects submitted by the drivers.
▪ Search Parameters:
○ Asset Name
○ License Plate
▪ Sort Parameters:
○ Reported Date
○ Asset Type
○ Asset Name
▪ Filter Parameters:
○ Time Period (DVIR submitted date) select a pre-defined date range or a start/end date
○ Asset Type
○ Defect Status & Severity (active major, active minor, all active, repaired, all)
To sort columns, click the column header. Click again to reverse the sort. Click a third time to no longer sort by the selected column.
- Follow the steps below to search, sort and filter defects:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click Inspect

From the top menu click the Defects tab

Type in the Search field, or use the Time Period, Asset Type or Defect drop downs to filter defects
