Rules – For Inspection Notifications
When a driver submits a DVIR for their assets, and that DVIR reports defect(s), fleet safety and maintenance managers need to know right away about major defects so they can get the issues fixed and get the assets back on the road. Notifications can be setup for major defects or any defects which includes minor defects.
Fleet managers can also be notified if a DVIR was not submitted for an asset when it should have been, indicating there is a Missing DVIR.
From the Inspect web app you can choose which assets to send notifications for, who will receive the notifications and how the notifications will be received via Email or Push notification. If different users need to be notified about defects reported for different groups of assets, a separate rule can be set up for each group.
