Update Defect to Original Defect Status – Defect Details Page
You can also return defects that have previously been marked as ‘Not a Defect’ to their original defect status of active Minor Defect status from the Defect Details** page.
Follow the steps below to mark a previously marked defect from Not a Defect to Return to Defect:

Log in to Unity

From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click Inspect

From the top menu click the Defects tab

From the desired defect, click the three-dot menu at the end of the defect row

select View Details
The Defect Details page allows you to mark a previously marked defect from Not a Defect to Return to Defect from the corresponding button.
Follow the steps below to mark a previously marked defect from Not a Defect to Return to Defect:
- Click the Return to Defect button
When you select the ‘Return to Defect’ button, you will be required to add a note as to why and sign the confirmation. If you have previously saved your signature, it will populate automatically. Your name (based on the user signed in) the date and time will also populate automatically and cannot be changed.
Follow the steps below mark a previously marked defect from Not a Defect to Return to Defect:

Type in the Notes as to why the defect still needs to be repaired

Draw your Signature with the computer mouse, (if it does not populate automatically)

Click the Confirm button
Once all of the required fields are populated and you confirm, the status of the defect is updated to an Active Minor Defect. The options that are available now are to again mark it as ‘Not a Defect’* or to ‘Mark Repaired’.*
