New Task – Health Check
The Health Check process allows you to easily identify if the new device has been connected successfully. The Core functions include Data Link, GPS and Connected to Power.
Follow the steps below to complete the Health Check for a new install:

Tap one of the Core functions (Data Link, GPS, Connected to Power)

View the additional details of the selected core function
The Health Check must be valid with green check marks to indicate a successful install.
The Data Link must be valid (with the current date/time stamp) for the other health parameters to be received.
Health Check takes a few seconds to process.
Optional items include: ECM, Input Sensor & Wi-Fi.
press the refresh button.
If Data Link does not pass (green check mark) wait 2 minutes and press the refresh button.
The Health Check screen allows you to check the device’s performance.
• All available sensors are combined into 6 groups and pressing any group displays a detailed sensor list.
• Green circle indicates that sensors are sending data.
• Green checkmark indicates that a group of sensors have passed a validation check.
Below is a summary of each sensor and how they are validated.
Core Functions:
Data Link: provides the current date and time.
Timestamp information must not be older than 5 minutes.
GPS: provides the status of the GPS signal, as well as the Latitude and Longitude coordinates.
Connected to Power: provides the vehicles battery voltage (higher than 11) and Ignition state.
Optional:
ECM: provides data that is available from the Engine Control Module (ECM) minimum of 2 sensors is required.
Input Sensor: provides data that is available from Input Sensors (Analog, Digital, Temperature) minimum of 1 sensor is required.
WiFi: provides the status of the devices Wifi (if supported by the device).
New Task – Health Check Complete
Follow the steps below to complete the Health Check for a new device:

Tap the Complete button

Optionally type in notes and tap Submit

The app will indicate that the Task was completed successfully
When the new Device Install has been completed, the Administrator in the FC Hub web application will see a newly created asset with the device details information. The device and asset are connected to each other and are visible in the Settings > Assets and Settings > Devices > Device list sections.
