- The main body of the Battery list screen contains the list of batteries along with several columns of summary data for each. To the left of the Battery list is a collapsible search and filter sidebar that is useful for narrowing down the list of batteries displayed.
- The blue buttons on the right side of the screen just above the list are actions that can be taken with batteries that are selected with the checkboxes to the left of each battery name. Note that some actions are applicable when no items are selected and others are applicable when one or more items are selected.
- Actions that may be executed for individual batteries are also accessible using the carat icon under the far right hand column for each record.
Battery - Main Screen - Sorting
- You can sort the list by any of the columns by simply clicking on the column header. For example, if you want to sort by “type,” click on the Type column header.

Battery - Main Screen - Search and Filtering
- On the left side of the screen is a filter box. The first option in this area is a text search window.
- You can also use the “filter” options to refine the battery list.
- The filters include checkbox selections.
- You can apply more than one filter.
- Note that “AND” logic is used between multiple filters, while “OR” logic is used within a single filter.
Battery - Main Screen - Select a Battery
- To select a battery to work with, you can simply click on that battery’s name. Clicking on the battery’s name will take you to the detail screen for that battery.
- You can also select one or more batteries from the list by checking the boxes to the left of the battery names. If more than one battery is selected, the action options available for the selections will be updated on the screen. Note that the only options available when more than one is selected are “Add” and “Delete.”
Battery - Main Screen - Adding a Battery
- To add a battery, click on the “Add” button from the Battery menu.
- Enter details for the battery.
- When finished, click on the “Save” button at the bottom.

Battery - Main Screen - Edit a Battery
- There are several ways to edit the properties and settings for a battery.
Method 1
- One way is to click on the battery’s name in the battery list, which opens that battery profile.
- Next, click on the “Edit” button in the bottom right of the screen. The fields in the profile will now be editable.
Method 2
- The second method is to check the box next to the battery name in the battery list, then click on the “Edit” button in the menu. You can edit multiple batteries at once by selecting multiple checkboxes.
- The battery profile will open with all fields editable.
Method 3

The third method is to click on the carat icon to the right of the record in the battery list, then select “Edit” from the dropdown list of actions.

After making edits, click on the Save button at the bottom of the profile detail screen.

Battery - Main Screen - Edit a Battery
- There are two ways to select batteries for deletion.
Method 1
- One method is to select the checkbox next to the name or names of the batteries you wish to delete.
- Next, click on the “Delete” button.
Method 2
- You can also delete an individual battery by clicking on the action carat icon on the far right of the screen. When you click on the icon, you’ll see options to Edit or Delete. Click on Delete.
- A confirmation window will open. Click on “OK” to confirm that you wish to delete the record (or records).

- Select the “Refresh” button to refresh the data displayed onscreen.
