THESE STEPS SHOULD ONLY BE USED BY TIER 2 SUPPORT
Perform the following steps when a VAC is confirmed to have the correct Wi-Fi credentials but still will not connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Note: The Admin code is needed to access some of the menu options described below.
Confirm that the Wi-Fi Module has a valid MAC address
- Log on to the VAC as an Admin user
- Select the Wi-Fi menu option then press enter
- Select the diagnose option then press enter
- Scroll down until you see the MAC address
- Confirm that the MAC address is not all F's (FFFFFFFFFFFFF)
Reset the Wi-Fi Module to Factory Default
- Log on to the VAC as an Admin user
- Select the Wi-Fi menu option then press enter
- Select the diagnose option then press enter
- Select the Usr Cmd menu option then press enter
- Press the Right arrow key four times (until the blinking cursor is next to the I)
- Enter FD then press enter two times
- Press the red ESC key three times (until you are back to the main menu)
- Select the Debug menu option then press enter
- Select the Reset menu option then press enter
- Enter the code 7373 then press enter
- Press the ESC key then attempt to reconfigure Wi-Fi and confirm if the VAC connects
