Checklists - Checklist Detail Screen - Job Selection - Details
- If licensed, the Job Selection details section of the page lists the job categories and options that are included in the Job Selection. To edit this information, click on the “Edit” button on the bottom right of the screen.
- “Category” refers the text displayed to the user on the VAC explaining what the menu choices mean.
- “Category options” are the menu choices listed below the category.
- “Sub categories” are additional levels of a selection tree allowing the user to drill to a specific job. You can add 2nd,3rd, 4th, etc. levels of sub-categories to any one or more categories.
For example, a category might be “Which shift are you working” and the options may be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. When you click on 1stin the UI, you can add a sub-category with its own options. Continuing with the example, the subcategory might be “Where are you working” and the options might be “receiving dock, putaway, shipping dock.”
- Job code is a unique code linked to the specific job selected. This has to be assigned to the last possible selection in that job selection tree branch. In the above example, if the 1st shift had all the subcategories but the 2ndand 3rdshift did not include shipping or receiving, the 1stwould not a have job code, but 2ndand 3rdin the first category would need job codes. If the job code you want doesn’t exist, it can be added.
- When you click on the carat icon to the right of a job category, you have the option to rename that category or delete it.
- Clicking on the carat icon to the right of a job option allows you to choose between renaming the option, deleting the option, moving the option up or down in the checklist, adding an option before the current one, or adding an option after the current one.
- You can also add an option after the last option in the checklist by clicking on the “Add Option” link. In the textbox, enter the option name. Click on the Job Code link to add a Job Code. A window will open listing Job Codes. Select the desired code and click on OK.
- When you have finished editing the Job Selection, click on the Save button on the bottom right of the screen.
