Devices are wireless infrastructure devices leveraged to allow mobile equipment to communicate with the system software and include:
- WAMs – wireless nodes communicating data and location using Intelligent RF frequencies.
- Beacons – wireless nodes communicating location only using Intelligent RF frequencies.
- Wi-Fi Access Points – access points using Wi-Fi frequencies.
The main body of the devices list screen contains the list of devices along with several columns of summary data for each. To the left is a collapsible search and filter sidebar that is useful for narrowing down the list of devices displayed.
- In the bottom right of the screen, you can choose how many devices are displayed at a time. (10, 25, 50, 100).
- Go to the next page with the page numbers shown on the bottom left.
- Sort the list by any of the columns by simply clicking on the column header. For example, if you want to sort by “Device ID,” click on the Device ID column header.
Search for a device
- Search any text in the list by entering text in the search on the left.
- You can also use the “filter” options to refine the device list.
- The filters include checkbox selections and dropdown selectors.
- You can apply more than one filter.
- Note that “AND” logic is used between multiple filters, while “OR” logic is used within a single filter.
Select a Device
- Click on that device’s name. Clicking on the device’s name will take you to the detail screen for that device.
