Below is an example of how a specific language is selected.

1. The VAC screen will display the following menu options: About, Config, Francais, Memory, and Info.
2. If the operator wishes to continue using English for the menu option they simply log on to the VAC
3. If the operator wishes to use French Canadian, the operator will select Francais (option 3) and press Enter
4. After choosing French Canadian, the operator will see the French Canadian text displayed
5. The operator will then scan their ID Card to log on to the VAC
