In Vision Pro, switching from ANY ID to REG ID or REG ID to ANY ID works. Anyone can change the Access Control mode and the changes will be applied directly to the site. There is no need for verification.

There was an issue that when the site was newly allocated, the vehicles went into REG ID immediately before launch.

The root cause of this issue is, when the site is newly allocated, the system beacon message is set to REG ID but Access Control on the website says “ANY ID”.

This issue (SF CASE 182181 / TFS 38132) has been reported for Engineering.

Here’s a temporary solution until Engineering resolves it:

After a site is newly allocated and deployed in Vision Pro,

  1. Click on the Gear icon > System Settings
  2. Click Edit
  3. Under Vehicles > Set “Access Control Mode” from ANY ID > REG ID
  4. Click SAVE
  5. Click Edit
  6. Under Vehicles > Set “Access Control Mode” from REG ID > ANY ID
  7. Click SAVE
