How to Start your Day with BigRoad and Unity Inspect
Follow the steps below to complete a DVIR for a Truck and Trailer where the Odometer and Hubometer values are required:

Login to the BigRoad ELD App, select the Truck you will be driving and update your duty status to On Duty

Tap the DVIRs icon (this will open Unity Inspect to the Inspect tab with your truck already assigned)

To add a Trailer, from the Choose assets for inspection field, search and select the Asset name and tap Done

Tap the Start New Inspection button
If the Odometer value for the truck is not pre-populated and is a required field, you will receive a warning message before moving on to the next step.
Follow the steps below to complete a DVIR for a Truck and Trailer where the Odometer and Hubometer values are required:

Choose the inspection type

Verify the address and truck Odometer value (pre-populated for vehicles with fleet tracker)

Tap the Next button

If the Hubometer value is a required field, a message will be populated

Once the information has been updated and verified, tap the Next button

If there are no defects to add, tap the Next button
Follow the steps below to complete a DVIR for a Truck and Trailer where the Odometer and Hubometer values are required:

View the two warning messages which indicate that Only Vehicle assignments are visible in Unity, and Only Assigned Assets show in the Roadside Inspection module

Sign the DVIR

if you have the Trailer attached to your truck, from the Assign Assets to Me section, slide the bar to assign the trailer to you

Tap the Submit button
