Reports are accessible from the Library tab of the Reports module.
Follow the steps below to create a Report:
-
Log in to Unity
-
From the Navigation Panel on the left-hand side, click the Reports module
-
From the Reports Library tab, select the desired Report (in this example we have selected Idling)
-
From the report parameters, specify the desired date and time range
-
Click within the Assets field
-
To individually select Assets, add a tick next to the desired Assets
-
Or click the Search field, and type in the asset’s name, licence plate, label or group to locate the associated asset
-
Or click to enable Group mode and select the desired groups (includes a Group of pre-existing assets)
-
Click the Confirm button
Note: For more information on how to setup Groups, please refer to the Unity Groups section.
For most Reports, Period and Asset parameters is enough to generate the report, for some reports additional parameters are available.
-
For the Idle Report, specify the Ignore idling less than time in minutes (report parameters vary based on the selected report)
-
Specify the Activity time which includes: Any time, During working hours, Outside of working hours (work schedules must be setup to utilize the last two options)
-
Select the desired Time zone that you would like to display the data in the report, which includes the Region and City
-
Select a System view: Default (displays only the main data fields, hides the rest) or All data (displays all data fields)
-
Click the Generate button
-
The Report results will appear in the Open Reports tab
Note: Time Zone allows you to run reports with a specific time zone without having to change the time zone in a user profile. For example: if a user is in one time zone and assets operate in a different time zone, the user can run a report in the asset time zone to see the asset activities with local timestamps. Report specific time zone selection is not available for the Daily Summary and Distance reports which aggregate data on a day-to-day basis, and day is defined by the organization time zone settings.
Views: Each report has a defined set of data that is available when a report is generated.
